Arunachal Pradesh can be roughly divided into a set of semi-distinct cultural spheres, on the basis of tribal identity, language, religion and material culture: the Tibetic area bordering Bhutan in the west, the Thanyi area in the centre of the state, the Mishmi area to the east of the Thanyi area, the Tai/Singpho/Tangsa area bordering Myamar, and the "Naga" area to the south, which also borders Myanmar.
Assamese culture is traditionally a hybrid one developed due to assimilation of ethno-cultural groups in the past. Therefore, both local elements or the local elements in Sanskritised forms are distinctly found.

Day 4
Today enjoy local sightseeing in Tawang. We take you to the Tawang Monastery - GOLDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE. The Tawang Gompa is definitely the high point of the town, with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Also visit the War memorial. Evening free for shopping and leisure. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 5
Drive to Dirang. Sightseeing in Dirang. Check into hotel for overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 6
Morning sightseeing in Dirang. Drive to Kaziranga National park. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 7
Early morning elephant safari after breakfast Jeep safari (activities at additional expense). Later drive to Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 8
Morning you may take a temple tour to pay your obeisance at the Maa Kamakhya Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Sukleshwar Temple. In time transfer to airport/station for onward journey.
